Nola’s 30+ year career began with obtaining degrees in both social work and psychology from the University of Victoria. After graduation, she transitioned to a social work role, where she discovered her passion for supporting children with special needs and their families, before earning her Master’s in Applied School and Child Psychology from the University of Calgary. As a Licensed School Psychologist (now retired), Nola practiced within the educational setting, primarily within the Central Okanagan. Throughout her career, Nola has retained her private counselling practice, which she transitioned full-time in 2022. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Nola is deeply passionate about walking alongside neurodivergent individuals of all ages. Her collaborative, strength-based approach blends clinical insight with practical, person-centered support. She works directly with children, youth, and adults, while closely partnering with families through education and counselling to foster meaningful, lasting growth.
